We all serve one God in the name of Jesus. It takes a lot of followers of Christ to keep our local communities going and to allow Reconnect to reach more people. There is something for everyone. Young or old in age, young or old in faith. If you call Reconnect home and want to get more involved, just let us know and we would be happy to guide you on your journey.

How do I volunteer?

The first step in serving at Reconnect is to fill out the volunteer signup form or talk to one of our staff. There are so many areas available to serve that there is a place for everyone.

How often do I have to serve?

While you are not required to serve any set amount of time, we do request that you serve at least one Sunday per month so that everyone stays up on processes as well as allowing others to have time off.

How old do you have to be to serve?

There are no specific ages for serving at Reconnect. Everyone is called to serve. There are certain restrictions based on certain ministries, but there is definitely a place for you, no matter your age.

How do I volunteer with music?

How do I volunteer with kids?

The Reconnect Creative team consists of instrumentalists, singers and a tech team. If you have talent in any of these areas, this might be a fit for you. Fill out the volunteer signup form or talk to one of the team.

In order to work with kids, you must love kids, have experience working with them and be able to pass a background check. Fill out the volunteer signup form or talk to one of our staff.

How do I volunteer with tech?

Tech refers to a lot of things at Reconnect. We have simple things like running slides during service, or more involved things like setting up lights. Fill out the volunteer signup form or talk to one of our staff.

What if I like working with my hands?

If you like working with your hands, building, fixing and cleaning, we are always looking for people to serve with our Facilities team that is responsible for all maintenance and cleaning of Reconnect.

How do I volunteer with students?

If you want to work with some of the older kids, like middle school and high school students, fill out the volunteer signup form or talk to one of our staff.

What's this I keep hearing about background checks?

For the safety of everyone at Reconnect, we have a few areas to serve that require full background checks. All security team members and anyone that works with kids are required to pass one.
